As part of the OK Dementia project, I presented 5 Jackets at Dutch design week each representing different approached to designing for people living with Dementia. The Diagram Jacket helps people dress with a series of graphic instructions and devices. The second jackets has no right or wrong way to wear it...removing the stigma or normalisation some people and their carers who are living with Dementia face. The Do-Re-Mi jacket adds a series of prompts to help with getting dressed in the correct order. The Empathy jacket is designed for people to try and dress with frustration and failure, it is impossible to wear this jacket properly empasising the need for empathy.
